As a result in the older areas of town, many of the homes were built by family members, room by room, as their families grew. To Whom It May Concern:
During the summer of 2012 in order to more fully diversify our investment assets my wife and I began to look for investment properties to purchase in Santa Fe, New Mexico. During a property inquiry we had the very good fortune of meeting Tom Fitzgerald of Keller Williams Realty. Tom, unlike a lot of other real estate agents, thoroughly understands the substantial differences between purchasing a personal residence and purchasing investment properties. Initially, we were looking at condominium type units that were reasonably priced but Tom with his great knowledge of the real estate market in Santa Fe Tom convinced us that multiple unit properties were probably more likely to provide better cash flow than condominiums. He listened intently to our desires and within a few days sent us specifications on several multiple unit properties that matched our investment criteria.
We immediately began the purchase of a short sale duplex which looked great from an investment standpoint. Short sales are notoriously difficult and Tom stood by us throughout the entire process and worked tirelessly throughout the process to help resolve any problems that came up during the sale. We closed on the property in less than 11 weeks which was incredible for a short sale situation. During that same time frame we also initiated the purchase of another great duplex investment property that was a conventional sale. Again with Tom’s incredible help that sale closed in about 6 weeks. The closings for each property actually occurred only one day apart and Tom was right there with us during each of the closing meetings continuing to support us as we signed all the paperwork.
During our due diligence research on each property Tom helped us to arrange detailed inspections, suggested possible loan sources, suggested reputable contractors, and made suggestions as to how we might resolve some of the maintenance and upgrades needed on each of the properties. He was very honest in laying out possible issues with radon gas upgrades, roof repair issues, and many other property condition issues. He was very good at leaving no stone unturned and informing us as to what we were getting into with each property. Thanks to Tom’s incredible expertise and diligence there were no surprises on either property after our purchases.
Thanks to Tom’s incredible real estate knowledge we already have a very good cash flow on one of the properties and will have a positive cash flow on the second property by the end of this year. Tom is an incredible real estate agent that works tirelessly for his clients and if we decide to purchase more property in Santa Fe or even sell our personal house he will definitely be our agent. We highly recommend Tom to anyone who wants to purchase either personal or investment real estate in Santa Fe.

Two years ago, in anticipation of Linda’s retirement, we started looking for a home in Santa Fe and contacted Prudential Real Estate in Santa Fe. We
walked into the company’s office on South Guadalupe and asked to speak to an agent about buying a home in Santa Fe. To our good fortune, the agent we met was Tom Fitzgerald.
Over the ensuing two years Tom was a great help to us. We visited Santa Fe

About one year ago I started searching the internet with an interest in Santa Fe real estate. I gathered a few listings that interested me and contacted several agents in an attempt to flush out the best person to deal with. Upon arriving in Santa Fe, we met with several agents who showed us the listings I had gathered. From the start, Tom advised that the listings I had selected weren't the best quality, price or location. He suggested we view these properties and then come by because he had something to show us.
